Hi experts,

we try to call a Guided Procedures webservice from SAP WebFlow. This webservice is an instantiation URL that is generated in Guided Procedures. With the call of this URL it is possible to start a Guided Procedures Process.

http:// : /webdynpro/dispatcher/ eugpuiinst/AInstantiation? ;

Because it's not possible to call the URL from SAP WebFlow directly. So we wrote a servlet that implements a string replacement of some parameters (not important) and that should call the Guided Procedures URL.

However to start the process an authentication for the webservice URL is necessary.

We tried the basic and digest authentication without any success.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Which authentication soul we use?

Or is there any other possibility to change the necessary authentication type in the NetWeaver Administrator of the Composite Environment?

With best regards

    • Hi iescisa,

      we dont use kerberos. Where can we see what the default authentication is?

      This scenario is only a proof-of-concept, so the security is not so important... It would be enough if we could get the webservice running.

      btw: Stefen and i work together on this problem, so dont be surprised 😉
