Lockbox- item with same check number and same lockbox number twice

Hi all,

In lockbox processing, we have observed the same item appear twice , with the same check number . The first item shown in lockbox file is into sap. We didnt have the duplicate item appearing in sap but was shown in lockbox processed history

Anyone please reply your views

This is a severity one ticket. we have to close by the end of the day.

If the check number appears twice in the same lockbox transmission (FLB1), check the IDOC that was used. If you find the check numbers twice in the transmission itself, then it might be a mistake from the bank while keying in the infomation.

Have you checked all the customer entries which are cleared with specified file.

I have checked the customer. Customer is not having any line items at all
