SAP HANA XSA Web IDE: Odata-service and Excel

Hi,

could somebody tell us, if it should be possible to use a XSA odata-service within Excel.

I saw this nice blog by Lucia Subatin, which is described for XSC.

Was trying it, but get an error: ""Es konnte keine Tabellenliste von der Datenquelle bezogen werden""

("No table list could be obtained from the data source")

Hi Odata-Experts,

the question is, should this feature work in general? Is this a supported feature by SAP?

I got this answer by LS "I also think that this connection needs the XML full format and that is not implemented in XSA."

Is this true and does it will change?

Really this would be a very important feature for our users!
