Material Master Authorization

Can any one tell me how to give authorization to materila master views.

Details: My requirement is my client asking to see the materila master department wise.Like sales dept can only access the sales views, Purchase dept can only access Purchasing views.How to do that authorizations.Is there any settings?Please ..

create any role and assign authorization object M_MATE_STA - Material Master: here u can give authority based on views

take help from basis person for this

Dear aarya,

you better seat with your basis consultant and explain him your need, so that he can help you according to the user authorisations.
