Setting of Deletion Indicator for Product Cost Collector

Hi Gurus, could you please help me with this question:

We need to turn off the repetitive mfg

indicator active for a group of materials. this in order to replace product collectors to production. While I was setting the deletion flag for the PCC I am getting the following error :

The deletion flag cannot be set for product cost collector 716402 for one or more of the following reasons:

There are still run schedule headers for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

There are production versions for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

There are postprocessing records in repetitive manufacturing that are to be assigned to the product cost collector.

There are manufacturing orders for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

System Response

The system does not set a deletion flag.

Would appreciate inputs....points will be awarded Liberally...

Dear Karthik,

The answer is there in the question itself. Follow all the reasons, clear them one by one. in the last you will be able to remove the REM indicator.

I followed all the steps. There is no variance. Nothing to settle. Still I am not able to change either in Prod version or in Mat master

Hi

If you want set deletion flag for Product collector , you have to follow all this procedure to close all open items. because product cost collector is nothing but production order type RM01.

If you want turn off REM you can remove the REM check in MRP4 view.

If you do not want to use production version , you can lock the same.
