long texts & short texts

Hi,

what are the long text and short texts in MM,

how we can maintain that?

if we can maintain texts at material master, is it comes in PO header or item ?

please give me some clarifications in this,

will reward points

Hi

If you select "header" icon and select "short text" icon, you will be able to enter header text and after entering, if you require more to enter, select"Long text" and enter all your texts.

It is the similar for Item also, select a line item and select "short text" icon, you will be able to enter item text text and after entering, if you require more to enter, select"Long text" and enter all your texts.

If you enter the texts in inforecord, it takes the priority over the other like material master etc.

U can maintain long text in material master

Go to edit>long text> create text.

it comes in header or item based on setting
