Creating a defauth variant for a set of user's

Hi,

for trasaction code F.05 i wanted to create a standard output layout variant for a set of user's. Is it possible for user's with a specific role to have the variant picked up automatically for a single transaction code?

I've created a variant under my User ID but my user's dont like picking the variant every time they have to run the transaction code....
