I've doubt if u use calyear u need to go for calmonth.

if u use fiscal year then u need to consider fiscal year period.

Let the User Entry Mandatory Variable be ZFISCPER & Posting Period be ZPOSTPER

Place the Keyfigure in Rows.

Create 2 selections in Columns.

Selection1 - Fiscal Period - Restrict it to ZFISCPER - Posting Period - ZPOSTPER

Selection2 - Fiscal Period - Restrict it to ZFISCPER - Offset to -1 - Posting Period - ZPOSTPER

Were you trying something similar ??

Also are you looking data for the same selections ..

Offsetting Fiscal Period to -12 may not work as it may have 16 Posting Periods.

Check if it is because you don't have any data for that month in the infoprovider? Giving an offset of -12 to the calmonth variable is a very standard way of doing this.

Thanks.

There is data for both months (this year and last year).
