Remote directory in al11

Hi Experts,

I have done ssh setup between linux & AIX servers and i can remote login from one server to another like "ssh <userid>@<Remote server IP>". I would like to create directory path in AL11 as i need to use this for further setup.

I have create directory path with <Remote IP>/<share path> in AL11 but when i double click that it is saying Wrong order of calls <- CALL opendir: No such file or directory(,,..). Please let me know what i am missing here.

Regards,

Govardhan.

    Hello Govardhan,

AL11 access the directories with the <sid>adm user. Please logon on the OS level with the <sid>adm user on the same server, where you are using AL11, and try to read/write something in this directory with the exact the same notation

<Remote IP>/<share path> like you are trying to use it in AL11. Are you able to read it on OS level with the <sid>adm user?

    Regards, Alwina

    Hi Alwina,

    Thanks for you response!!

since i dont have password of <sid>adm user, hence i did ssh setup with my OS user(AIX) and i am able to read the remote directory(Linux) files with out prompting for the password. I raised a request to get <sid>adm user and once i receive it, i will do ssh setup with <sid>adm user and try to access 10.63.20.138/x/prod/ict/incoming/sap_po from AL11.

    Regards,

    Govardhan.
