There is not 1-to-1 relationship between Sales Org and Pricing procedure.

Pricing procedure is assigned to the combination of

Sales Area-Customer Pricing Procedure- Document Pricing Procedure

For all combinations you can assign single procedure.

Hi Ashish,

Yes what u said is correct.

But if one company has 2 sales org i.e., one in india and other in US . , then how many pricing procedures will be there for that particular company.

Hi Buddy,

<b>Sales Area</b> : Sales Org / D.Chann/Divison

To Understand the maximum possible Sales Area Simple Calculation

Sales Area = Total No of D.Channel Multiplied by Total No of Divisons.

Say in your case 2 D.Channel Multiplied by 2 Divison . So 4 max possible Sales Area Combination.

<b>Pricing Procedure</b> = Sales Area + Doc Pri Proc + Cust Pri Proc

The Pricing Procedure depends on Business Process. Accordingly u wud Config...

All the Best

Hi Sabina,

As the other forum members mentioned, there is no direct relation between the pricing procedure and the sales area. The number of pricing procedures depend upon the kind of customer range, product range and any other special or specific pricing formulas.

Regarding the sales areas - if you have 2 s.org's, 2 dist.ch's adn 2 div's then it will be 4 sales areas(provided if you make appropriate assignment).

Ex: S. ORG. DIST CH DIV

R01 R1 R2

S01 S1 S2

SALES AREA 1: R01 - R1 - R2

SALES AREA 1: S01 - S1 - S2

SALES AREA 3: R01 - S1 - S2

SALES AREA 4: S01 - R1 - R2

Hi

Creation of Pricing procedure is no where related to sales area. Pricing procedure is determined/assigned to combination of sales area + Customer pricing procedure (from customer master) + document pricing procedure (from sales document type).

So a single pricing procedure can be assinged to all sales areas (which u have mentioned).

Example: Sales organization : A, B

DC: X, Y

Div 1, 2

Total sales areas are: A, X, 1 and A, Y, 2 and B, X, 1 and B, Y, 2 and A, Y, 1 and A, X, 2 and B, X, 2 and B, Y, 1.

Total sales areas are 8 for all these areas we can assing single pricing procedure. or diffrent pricing procedure.
