Hello sap gurus,

1. Will the support team Involve in preparation of reports as per clients requirement.

and what type of reports they will prepare, if they prepare.

2. After Billing, what are the documents are updated.

ex: revenue a/c.

    Customer credit mgmt account

    SIS

    Sales documents

    Update Accounting doc,ie,debit posting in customer recevables and credit posting in revenue accounts

    Document flow updated

    The reports generated will be according to the customer requirement.

    Hi Sabina,

    There are a lot of reports available in standard SAP.Remember one thing that whereever and whenever you enter some selection criteria, you can take it for granted that you are accessing a report.

    As team member in a production support team you'd need to generate reports based on specific criteria for which there is no standard report available. To achieve this you'd need to prepare a functional specification explaining the purpose,business logic,business benefit,transactions,tables & fields involved.

    Hi,

    To answer your first query,

    Support teams would of course be involved in preparation of reports.

    Here are a few examples:

    (1)Report to extract third party PO information(especially useful during conversion)

    (2)Shipment Report

    (3)Report to show the open quantity during Consignment Process

    Answer to your second query,

    Following are the accounts that will get updated:

    (1)Revenue accounts

    (2)Customer accounts

    (3)Price difference accounts

    <b>Reports :</b>

    1.First of all you understand the need for the Report from Business Owners.

    2. Check the Technical Feasibility from your Technical Team

    3. Once the Report is ready, U test it in DEV Environment

    4. If the desired Result . Output is achieved you move it further to the OTher Environments for Further Testing

    5.Finally Get User Acceptance and "Transport it to Production Environment.
