i have created new sale document type "zor" and new number range ,now how can I assign number range to my "zor" ?

First you have to create number range in VN01. Note down the Range no. and assign the same in VOV8 to your order type "zor".

No.range int.assgt. Item no.increment 10
No. range ext. assg. Sub-item increment 10
goto VN01 and assign 05 0020000000 0024999999 20000000 there
there will be a +interval button..
check if 05 exist or not..if exist change to some other number and update in vov8
Assign "05" in "No.range int.assgt.", if you follow internal number ranges and if it is going to be external, the other field should choose.
I forget to add that you have to assign in "VOV8".

hi,
in vov8 (order type zor) in number systems tab u put the id of the number range.
