batch characteristics link to MIC

Can somebody put some light in detail on linking the batch characteristics with MIC and furthe use of the same..

Hello Sumit,

if you want to link the MIC to the batch I would recommend then setting up material specifications.

Sumit,

When in MIC change or create mode ,input class charac field the character for which you want the results of quality inspection to be transferred to the batch classification.

The field is only ready for input, if the following conditions are met

o You are in the change transaction for the master inspection

characteristic

o The master inspection characteristic is not used in any material

specification

Also,

The class characteristic must be contained in the batch class of the

material.
