Which engine is works in Scripted Calculation View and Graphical Calculation View

Could you please explain

1.which engine is used when Scripted Calculation view works/executed.

2.Which engine is used when Graphical Calculation view works/executed.

Thanks for the response.

I think Row Engine comes in the scenario when there are row based table involved. But here you have mentioned that in scripted view executed in Row Engine as Calc Engine is not supported.

So my question is that, whether Scripted calc view is executed via Row Engine every time ?

Hi,

when using a scripted view, there are SQL-Statements that are not supported by the calculation engine. In this case Hana switches to the row engine to calculate the result. This has impact on the performance. Calculation view normaly executed in the calculation engine.
