GR cancellation

hi gurus,

when i want to cancel GR i receive a different error message. pls GIVE ME U R SUGESITION ie,Defifite of pu IR qty 1,000 EA . what does this mean?

This means that you have already an invoice posted. And it is not allowed to cancel a goods receipt then.

You need to cancel the Invoice first, then you can cancel the GR.

Or you change customizing and allow to Cancel GR despite or IR.
