Document date cannot be changed irrespective of what you do.
As eric said, the best way is to reverse and re-post.
Use mass reversal if you have a lot of items.

Hi Eric,
thank you for you're replay, but we are in a situation in which a lot of documents belong to earlier fiscal years (already closed) and i think that it's not possible to reverse a closed document.

hi anass,
you have to understand that there are such sensitive fields in the postings which cannot be changed at all (because of intergity and many other things). The document date is one of these fields, so there is no other solution than to reverse and repost these documents.
If you believe that it is not possible to reverse these documents, because they are in already closed FY, than why would it be possible to change the document date of these documents?

thank you Asha, but it didn't work, the field is still read only. any other ideas?

hi Anass,
you can't change the document date after posting. You have to reverse the document and repost it with the proper date.

Hi Anass
Go to FA->GL a/cing->BT->GL a/c postings->carry out and check doc settings->Doc change rules, doc header and enter document date field here with 'field is modifiable' ticked
