Use cost center in PR release strategy

Our current PR release strategy is overall release based on 3 characteristics: doc type, creation indicator and total value of PR.

(1) Is it possible to include cost center (in item cost assignment) as one of the release strategy characteristics? If yes, how and should it change to item level release?

(2) If we use user-exit to restrict all item cost assignment to be identical, can we still use overall release?

(3) What happen if PR use other cost object, e.g. WBS or order?

Hi

Yes that is possible, based on the cost center you can create the release strategy for PR's.

In the structure CEBAN you can use the filed cost center as one of the characteristics.

I am not sure whether by using this Overall release will be appropriate.

But by using the user exit you can prevent having different costs centers.

If you are maintaining only one characteristic for the release strategy determination, then without cost center it may not trigger.
