Selection variable display in workbooks

Hi experts,

I have created a workbook in which a couple different variable selections are used. The variables are working correctly and all the right data is being returned. I have a navigation pane that should display the user-entered input for the variables. However, it is only working for one variable. For the rest, it displays the variable names, but not what the user entered. So for example, the nav pane looks like this:

Company: Joe Schmoe Co.

Profit Center: ___________

Posting Period: ___________

How can I get the rest of the user-entered inputs to show??

Thanks!

CM

    CM,

Seems odd -if you select Layout form the BEX toolbar, Display Text Elements and variables does it give you anything different to what you have?

    Regards

In the variable tick the check box Can be changed during navigation.

You can see this option below Ready for Input checkbox.

    Hope this helps.

      Hi,

I don't see this option. I can see "Variable is ready for Input" option and below it says "variable is without context", but that option is only allowed for Customer Exits. This is a Manual Input variable.

Also I am using 7.0, perhaps that is the difference... ??
