Dependent Drop downs in Table - HCM Forms and Processes

Hello Experts,

Can we have a dependent dropdown in list component of HCM forms and processes.

For eg. If the table has two dropdowns, one for country and another for institute.

Upon selection of the country dropdown, the institute in that country should get auto-populated.

Similarly, when a user adds a new entry in the table, on selection of country the institutes should get auto populated the second row.

The logic is not working on tabular format but it is working on single entry basis.

Since the field name for the entire column is one and the same, the values are getting overwritten in the tabular format in spite of setting the index.

Please let me know if am missing anything.

This is very doable and I have done it often. In fact, I would suggest you read my blog on F4 help with HCM P&F to get some ideas. You will also need to make use of some user event/FPM "handler" to "listen" for the change in the "master" drop down to then populate the dependent drop down accordingly.
