What are the precautions/corrective measures to take when user ids of several users are changed?

We are going to change the user ids of several users in our SAP systems because of certain changes in organization policies. Some of the areas that will be impacted are ownership of transport requests, spool requests, workflow items, Test RFC connections that use any of those user ids and Mailboxes in SBWP. What are the other areas that are expected to be impacted and what are the precautions/corrective measures to be taken in relation to those? Also, can any direct mapping be set up between the old and new user ids in each of the above cases?

    Hi Dipyaman,

just a few things to consider are info type 0105, if maintained, and also background jobs that are scheduled in the users name. Also, depending on components in use, there might be tables and views that must be updated. I assume this is especially true if you use BW, PS, etc.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards, Alessandro
