PI Post Configuration BASIS issue - Urgent

Hi All,

I am in the process of doing Post configuration(BASIS Settings) for PI. I opened Visual Administrator to check for the SLD Data Supplier services on the left pane.But it throws an error Saying <b>"Error loading the SLD Data Supplier"</b>. What could be the cause of the error ? Do I have do some other setting to avoid this error.

Kindly let me know any cause that could lead to this error and also what should be done to correct this. Its very urgent.

did u run the template for PI postinstallation step.run that template .

Hi,

From SP06 we can run the templates for the Post installation steps this we can found http://hostname:port/nwa.Execute theses templates by providing needed data there and try.

Have you set this to point to the SLD?

Have you check the correct URL, Port, username and password?

Is ths SLD patched to the correct level?

Also, it is worth checking in the Deply > Applications to make sure all the SLD Programs are running....

Thanks for your reply. So far I have not configured any SLD. Is it mandatory that SLD has to be set / configured before doing this step ?

XI/PI does need a link to an SLD to function properly.
