Dear All,

Plz clear my queries.....

1. While creating notification, Task Tab ( Task Code) field is in Non-Editable mode, so whre & how to enter task code?

2. Can we change or Delete the existing 3 notification types?

3. what is the use of value types that we configure in IMG?

hi deepak

1.Normally task code will be in active only from which you will select the task code for the cause.in your case check the notification whehter you have activated the Task tab page in customization field

2.It is recommeded not to delete the standard notification type,of course you can change the notification content as per you requirments

3.Can you exapalin further about value type.ie where we are using value type

In Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service you have activated the <b>Tasks (10\TAB011) tab page</b> for the notification type under Set Screen Templates for the Notification Type.

i have seen the screen shots, i think you have not assigned task to the catalog,

make the settings in the following path

plant maintenance>maintenance and service processing>maintennace and service notification>notification creation>Notification content>Change Catalogs and Catalog Profile for Notification Type

here assign for your notification on <b>Task</b> under <b>Task <b>TAB</b></b>
