HI gurus,

Whenever I try to maintain an entry in OBYC tcode for WRX (GR/IR clearing account), its asking to enter general modificationkey, valuation class, g/l account.

What is this general modification key, how to configure this?

Hi

General modification key is nothing but Account modifier....yes it is a three digit key.....eg.) BSA-----> for 561 movement type

VBR-------> for 201 movement type

ZOB----

---

> for 501 movement type

ZOF----

---

> for 521 movement type etc.

Is their any option to assign my plant/val grpng code to transaction event key. (SAP ECC6.0)

Hi

It is the valuation grouping code, which you link Company code, valuation area

and Chart of account.

Give the same Code in WRX setting. It will works.

GENERAL MODIFICATION field accepts only 3 characters, but my val grpng code is a 4 character code.

How to proceed

Please note we are using ECC 6.0 version.

Also we are unable to find a option to assign val class and G/L account to a valuation grouping code as in SAP 4.7E
