Hi All,

I am trying to use DTW for COA, but when i click on Finish, it gives me an error <b>"Illegal parent number Application -defined or object defined error 65171"</b>.

in the Column <b>"FatherAccountKey"</b> i had given the main Bucket code which is <b>"Revenue"</b>, with the Code <b>"400000000000000"</b>

I am not using the Segmented COA, since this is the first time i am trying to import.

Please help me out.

Regards

Shanker.

Hello,

your fatheraccountkey is correct. The problem is in the possible caused by wrong in filling the date. here is example :

4E+14 Income

Income 40001

Income 40002

Income 40023

Income 40054

try to check it.

Hello Shanker,

What I mean is that the fatheraccountkey you use is correct, it must be 400000000000000. The DTW template must be developed like this follows :

FatherAccountKey ForeignName FormatCode Account name

FatherAccountKey ForeignName FormatCode Account name

400000000000000 Income

Income 4000

Income 4001

Income 4002

So, it seems the format code in your previous message is revenue. Just try to replicate the above example I give. Let me know if problem still persists
