I agree, Juan. Your post was totally unnecessary. Oh, wait...

Hello Juan,
I stand to my position.
This kind of people need to be educated to the use of forums...
As I told him : I'm glad to help my fellow sysadmins
IF i'm interested by the question
IF I know something about the subject.
IF the guy does not ask me to do his own work
IF he does not tell "it is very urgent"
IF he does not want to buy me with points I don't care about.
You have perfectly the right to have a different opinion.
Best Regards,
Olivier

I feel it was necessary, he provided a comprehensive answer but the questioner quite obviously has no clue about the topic...it seems.

I didn't ! haha I call it the "Falling Down" syndrome....looks like someone had a "case of the Monday's" hahah. Seriously, I get frustrated with the same kinda thing....and then when you are told it is "urgent" and "points rewarded" it just comes off really bad. So.....maybe a bit blunt, but not unnecessary in my opinion. In fact, I think the person tried to answer quite well in the first post and seemed to be completely ignored when he didn't spoon feed the OP. Personally, I wouldn't have wasted my time with the follow-up....so is that even more unnecessary? 😃
