I have a generic/common doubt in forecasting with mrp araes (consumption based plng with mrp typr v2). The material is allocated an mrp area of type 2(storgae location ) and in the forecasting tab of the mrp area i do not see any " execute forecast", "total consumption" or "forecast values" button that u normally see in forecasting tab in material master at the plant level. if i go to the mrp areas i find four tabs "<i>mrp 1, mrp 2, forecast and consumption values</i>". is this standard setting. Bcos of this iam not able to see the forecast results in graphic at the mrp arae level, nor i can change the forecast values or execute forecast at mrp area level in material master record.
