Dear Experts

I have some questions regarding the BI 7.0 terminology and Portal.

What is Bex Web . Is this same as BEx Web Applicatiob Designer ?

Where can I see the Bex web analyser ? Is it from the query designer File and exceute ?

What is Portal ? Is Portal and Web Analyser same (Why am asking is when I exceuted the query from Query designer and When I go to the portal Link its showing the same screen asking for the userid and password...)

If My software componets are showing in the backend as SAP_ABA ,SAP_BASIS, SAP_BW,BI_CONT ....Does it mean that we are using the usage type AS-ABAP ? If yes , SAP note 917950 descrbes that Bex web in nw2004s requrires EP and AS-Java...Does BASIS need to do that or do I need to check somewhere ? I mean am checking in System -status , Do I need to check somewhere in front end for AS-JAVA ?
