Why the CSV files unavailable on BI platform?

Hello ,

In the SAP design studio, I can use the local data source CSV file, but the application show no data available when I save and open it on the BI platform.

Is there any good solution for this problem?

Hi Spring.

You can use Lumira 2.0 to realize it.

a. In Lumira Designer,create a document DEMO_TEST.

b. Login Lumira Discovery BI platform,open DEMO_TEST document ,and then import excel as datasource, save it.

c. Edit your application in Designer or Discovery.

d. Upload your docuent to BI platform. And then you can run it in BI platform.

Hi Spring,

If you are referring to the CSV file created by exporting from the data source initial view editor then this cannot be used on the BI Platform, which is by design because the CSV export is intended for local prototyping only. It is not supported on the BI Platform. You can use the Community SDK BYO data source component instead.
