Oracle DB migration from I386 to IA64 server on Windows

I'm running BW 3.1C on Windows 2000/I386 server and Oracle 9.2.0.6. We want to migrate this instance to a 64bit OS/HW because of lack of resources on current server. We bought a new Itanium IA64 server and want to install Windows 2003 IA64. What is the best way now to migrate my SAP & Oracle database to the new IA64 bit system?

Thanks,

Jay Connell

    Check http://service.sap.com/systemcopy.

I suggest you do it the "R3load"-way - with that you get a database reorganization with your copy.

In fact if you check from the system copy guide, sap recommended to use their tools.
