Inbound delivery quantity is getting changed as per the GR quantity in case of partial GRs .

Hi Guys,

Need an urgent help in the issue , I have created a PO and doing GR w.r.t inbound delivery .

Now when I am doing partial GR against the delivery , system is changing the delivery quantity as per GR qty in Inbound delivery and also changing the goods movement status to C (Completed ) in delivery .

Because of this issue I am unable to do GR of remaining qty against the same Inbound delivery . Please help me with the solution. Is there any way I can make the delivery qty unchanged in case of partial GRs.

Eg:

PO = 10 Qty

IBD= 10 Qty

GR= 8 Qty

IBD changed to 8 Qty , Status Changed to "C" and hence the delivery is closed.

SPRO->MM->Purchasing->PO->Confirmation-->set up differences profile. => read the "Close SN" check box pressing F1 in detail.

check on the system that you're having this issue, if it is selected may be this is the case.

If the DEV system is working fine, i think QAS or other system were transferred this setting from your golden server.

I hope this may be your Issue.

can you give me screenshots for the initial quantity of inbound delivery and goods movement status as well as the same inbound delivery after being posted by MIGO with the same information.

i have attached both the screen shots .

I have created IBD with qty 50 and 10 in item 1 and 2 respectively .

After doing partial receipt of Qty 10 and 5 in item 1 and 2 respectively , IBD changed and status is completed,ibd.pngafter-gr.png

Huhm this is really strange case if no configuration exists.

i think you have to check with your ABAPer and let's see if they can find out why after GR the inbound delivery changed like that.

And maybe try to check if any changes have been made on IBD.

I have replicated the same scenario in my Test system, but system didn't reduce inbound delivery to 8. Please see the attached screenshot in this regards

That's what the issue is . System should not change the inbound delivery qty .

There is one strange thing , this functionality is working fine in my dev client but in QA it is not working as expected and qty is changing with respect to GR qty.

Is there any config which is missing or what?
