Including Excel-File in an iView

i have a problem with including an excel-file.

I want to include an excel-file in an iView, so that the users can open this excel-file, modify this excel-file and save the modified excel-file.

If i have the excel-file in the KM-Content-directory the users get only a copy of the document which has a write protection. When an user try to save this document he can overwrite the existing document without problems. But he has to sign on. If he opens this document which was saved he must sign on every time.

Do somebody know this problem or has an idea for solving this problem?

Is there a possibility to open a file from a directory in our network, so that i have not to upload this document in the KM-Content-directory?

Please help me
