Idoc to FlatFile and Flatfile to Mail

Hi all,

I want to convert an Idoc into a FlatFile - this is no problem. But when the FlatFile is created I want to send the FlatFile via EMail as an attachment.

How do I do this using Mail-Adapter ?

I also thought to use an Unix Command to send the Email. With the file adapter it is possible to execute an Unix Command after the File was created.

What is the better solution. And which Unix Commad do I have to use to send email (using SMPT).

Many thanks.

Elko

    Hi

You can do this in 2 steps.Get the file from the IDoc using simple IDoc to File Scenario. Now configure another scenario, File to Mail and delete this file once it is processed.

    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/07/mail-adapter-xi--how-to-implement-dynamic-mail-address

The sender file adapter is configured to pick the normal payload which is specified in the File access parameters, and the attachment file that is to be sent as an attachment is configured under the Additional File(s).The file type will be binary.

Get back if you have any doubts on File to Mail Scenario.

    Thanks

    hi Elko ,

if you want to sent this flat file via mail , so go for file to mail scenario.

your sender will be this file so use Sender File Adapter then for receiver go for Receiver Mail Adapter

    for Receiver Mail Adapter

    Transer Protocal : SMTP

    Message Protocal: XIPAYLOAD

    Adapter Engine : Integration server

    Connection parameters

    URL:smtp://*********

    USER:test

    PASSWORD:test
