Hi,

I have 2 users:

User A and User B

User B is an active substitute for user A during 9/10 - 10/10

How to limit user B to only able to see NEW workflow tasks intended for user A during 9/10 - 10/10?

I dont want user B to be able to view all user A's tasks that are still sitting in his inbox before 9/10.

Paul is right, this is not how substitution is meant to work. What if there is an older item that requires attention during the absence? What about deadlines/forwards/escalations?

The correct way for your scenario is to make the substitute an agent during the absence period. This should be a easy to set up using validity periods.

Hi,

I think this is not possible. If you want to really show new workitem to new user, then forward it mannually or through batch job.

Thanks
