Issue with CLM to SRM contract replication

Hi,

In our landscape CLM supply agreement is replicated to SRM as central contract. In case of contracts for product category, sometimes supply agreement gets replicated over as “item type= product category” but most of the times it gets replicated as “item type= normal”. This happens when contract is created for materials. For services, the contract comes across correctly as “product category”.

If the item type=normal, then it is not proposed as a source of supply during shopping cart creation. So the requirement is to get the contract to consistently replicate with item type = “product category”.

Even duplication of the same document sometimes yields different results...

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. - Screenshot attached

Thank You.

    Hi,

Would you please check if a free text item is used in such kind of contract?

The following KBA talks about this in SRM side:

2441016 - Contract Normal Item created instead of Product Category
