Proxy to SOAP synchronous scenario in PI

HI Expert,

I am working on a proxy to soap scenario where a soap request will be sent through proxy from ECC synchronously. The synchronous call will call the web service and fetch an URL for a pdf. Once we get the url we need to do a synchronous soap or http call to get the pdf from the url. Once we get the pdf ,we need to send the pdf to ECC as synchronous response. Could you please tell me , what would be the easiest way to develop this interface? Do we really need BPM? is it possible to do a http lookup to obtain the pdf from the URL in the second step?

NB : I need to call the webservice with dynamic url for the first requet.

    Hi Sambran,

You can try the below approach without BPM:

In your first ECC-->SOAP request mapping create an Soap Lookup to get the URL for the PDF , once the URL is fetched use that in receiver soap channel via dynamic config and the rest is simple get the pdf and send the response back to ECC.

Its simple ECC<---->SOAP/Http sync scenario with lookup.

    Thanks,

    Manoj
