I am using Visual Studio2008 and the Crystal Reports Basic that comes with it. If the try to use the GridValueAt function then i get the error ' A number , currency amount, boolean, date, time or string is expected'

Is it because I am using an older version of Crystal Reports ? Getting a paid version is difficult for me. Help me with the solution, thanks.

Hi Hangkum,

GridValue functions for Crosstab were introduced in CR 2008.

What version of CR do you have?

In Visual Studio>Help>About section it says Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008. I also installed CR for VS2008 service pack 1 just now. Then i came across this link. so its probably version 10.5 or version 12.
