Free gift with PO over an certain amount

Hi Community,

it's possible to give a free gift in a PO over an certain amount, e.g. "over an amount of 50 you will get an memory stick for free".

--> NA00 don't fullfill my requirements

--> we don't wanna use TANN anymore

Is the Free Gift against a Purchase Order or a Sale Order ? It seems that your question requires additional information. You forgot to mention why using a TANN is problematic. Is it related to localization?

Anyway, you could probably define and use a Z* item category.

Unfortunately, I cannot think of a standard functionality that would do what you ask, apart from bonus buy, but it is available only for retail systems.

I have not tried this scenario in a sandbox for this reason (no Retail system), but according to the list of supported use cases from SAP note 1458999 - SAP for Retail: ERP Store Connectivity WRT SAP POS, it must be possible.

In the note attachment I saw the following case:

* Buy a total of U amount, get X items from product group A for V price
-> example: spend 10 USD, get one drink for 2 USD

Probably this could work for V = 0.

If you are on a retail system and you are willing to look into Bonus Buy, maybe you could add a Retail tag to your question and have a higher chance to find someone, who has experience with the functionality.

If using Bonus buy is not possible, then I think that you will need to build custom functionality, because neither product proposal, nor cross-selling in their standard form could do exactly what you require.
