Hi,
We are splitting adaptive processing servers and provided RAM based on SAP recommendations.
Overall we created 8 adaptive job servers and the amount given to them is 30 GB.Our complete RAM size is 32 GB
Is it a bad idea to give 30 out of 32 GB for adaptive job servers ?
Thanks,
Vikram
In addition to what Mani mentioned - yes it is a very very bad idea.
Think about it this way :
You have a deployment that has many servers/services running on it.
You give 90% of all memory to 10% of your servers/services - what would happen to the rest of the servers/services ?
What about OS needs ?
CMS needs ?
Webi processing server needs ?

You may need to come up with your landscape & Architecture details. Are you looking for AJS sizing here instead of APS? Let us know.
Thanks
Mani

I am not looking for AJS sizing,I am thinking for splitting APS on each node "(DSL Bridge, core, connectivity, publishing).
Out of 32 GB per each node what would be ideal sizing i can allot it to APS.
Environment :3 nodes with CMS(32 GB each )
Note:Most of our reports are crystal reports and we have less webi reports.
Thanks,
Vikram
