Sending job specific variables in Time-out Notifications

Hi,

How do we send job specific variables in notifications that trigger when a step has exceeded its alloted time or number of iterations? We can specify the timeout duration in step properties for 'Process' step, however, there is no option to specify the body or subject line of the notification that will be sent. (These options are available in properties of notify step)

Regards,

Anoop

Hi Anoop,

MDM automatically send an email notification from the owner of the workflow to all assignees who have received but not yet completed the step, along with a “cc” to the specified users stating the assignee name, job id, no. of records in that job, start time, due time, Workflow name, step of that user and description of that step. It sends all the specific details in this notification.

Hope I am able to solve your problem

Thanks & Regards

Hi Dilmit,

Yes, MDM does send job specific details in the mail. However, i want to include the 'Record ID' along with the other details in the notification message.

How do i do that?

Hi Anoop,

MDM automatically gives a job id to all the records in that workflow. And in notification it sends the jobid with other details.

Hope I am able to answer you.

Hi Anoop,

I dont know think there is any way to add the record id in time out notification. You can add that in user defineed notifications.

Thanks & Regards
