Header or Properties in Message Mapping

Dear all,

I wonder if this hack (please excuse me if I consider it as such, no offence meant) described here is still necessary as of now.

I'm talking about the use of UDF to get hold of header or property values within message mapping. For consistency sakes this would very much be wanted to just work as e.g. in content-modifier.

Any news on this?

Realised that "UDF" is a PI term. Bear with me as a long time PI-head :-)

Hi Jens,

I'm afraid this "hack" :) still holds true. You would just get ${header.anyVariable} in the response if you don't use scripts as shown in the below output screenshot.

Therefore, the only solution (as mentioned in the link) still remains ie., referring the header / property variables using scripts.
