digits after decimal

dear friends

i want to increase the number of digits after decimal places , so where is the setting of this reqmt. I have tried in change of unit of measurement but no result.

eg. i want to change my qty figure in BOM from 12.231 to 12.2314

but it is not accepting the 4th digit after decimal so pls guide.
