How to send PO / invoice as text format? Where to get PO invoice template?

After we created PO we need to send this via email to our vendor. Is there anyway to send this PO via email direct to our customer without opening Outlook -and- and send this in text format (SAP converts the formatted PO into text format)?

Where can I download PO / invoice template for SAP B1? I don't like the default template, but takes time to modify.

    With the latest enhancement packs in 2005A you are able to email documents in PDF format rather than the old JPG. These cannot be sent as straight text files (nor would you want to as PDF is best practice). If you've defined email addresses for the SAP users as well as the Business Partner Contacts (the FROM and TO), then you can utilize the internal email functionality inside Business One (see the email icon in the menu bar).

    To send mail from within Business One you must also configure the Mailer service within Service Manager. Specify the SMTP mail server address, the databases to include and the frequency of which the system should check the user's Outbox for pending messages.

    The enhancement pack includes updated print layouts which look better than the original system layouts. There's less to modify with these layouts. If you have a PO PLD from another implementation that you like, you can use CopyExpress to move it to your new company.

      Hello,

      you can use outlook integration addon to perform the PO attachment sending. it will save as attachment automatically and the format is jpg. You need to synchronize the outlook to SBO so that once you click send button in SBO, then the microsoft outlook will be updated (the PO attachment) will be available in outlook. There is new PL of outlook is 80 and probably there is new features inside.
