Hello,

can anybody tell me if it's possible to publish a query in a role that was created by using the Portal Content Studio?

We want to publish some precalculated queries to some roles so that the query hasn't to be executed every time a user with this role accesses it.

You can publish to the Portal Content Directory as an iView and assign the iView to a role. For this the connection between EP and BI system need to be set up as per link below.

You can also broadcast to a EP KM Folder from the query designer.

But does this work with precaluclation - that's the important thing, we want to have precalculated things in the portal and we don't want to have that the query is executed every time a user clicks on it on the portal.

Use Broadcaster to Publish the Query to a KM Folder within EP, create a KM iView to the published report as use that iView within the role. In this case the query will be pre-calculated and the users will not have to run it online.

Can you tell me which KM iView to use? There are lots of them!
