Hi,
Given below is the Scenario and Client Requirement:
The client is having equipments (EX. Vaccume Cleaner, Water Jet Machine etc)which are defined in the system as assets under assets class.These assets are used in Various projects.
The client wants to know which assets are available in a particular project and the cost incurred to maintain the same should be booked as expenditure to the Project.
Pl help me to meet the above requirement.

create materials for all the assets and add them to your projects. now use the project stock functionality to keep track of the materials quantity( i.e your assets )
the report MBBS would give you the project stock for these materials ( assets ) in the projects.
Capture all the costs to the activity you have attached the materials and then settle these to relevant assests.

Hello,
One of the process to map this scenario could be as following
1. Create the equipment with reference to the asset. (As the vac.cleaner etc. are nothing but the equipment) Specify asset number in the equipment.
2.Assign this equipment to the WBS in project.(in WBS Assignment tab.)
3.For booking the maintaince cost of the asset (equipment) you can create a maintenance order with reference to WBS and settle the expenses incurred periodically to project. Thus the expenditure can be seen on the project.

Hello Raghavendra,
could you please check if you can use the transcation IH08 for this purpose. Here you can search for equipments and enter the WBS element.
