can we move changes from PI 7.4 to PI 7.0 vesrion

Hi Experts,

We are working on SAP PI "InPlace" upgrade from PI 7.0 to PI7.4 ( dual stack)

Once our development gets upgraded to PI 7.4 dual stack,if in case some emergency changes to the existing interfaces need to be moved to Production( which will be PI 7.0) can we move the changes from PI 7.4 to PI 7.0. Whether the tpz file of PI 7.4 are compatible with PI 7.0 version?( Any SAP Note available for the same)

Please help me with the issues that we might come across for "Inplace" upgrade and steps to be performed.

you can move as long as you are using only 7.0 features.

However you can take dev system copy and have it as back up. If any changes required, do the same changes in 7.4 dev and 7.0 Back up system. Export the objects from 7.0 back up system and import into production.

Once all are in 7.4 decommission the backup systems.if you have more fix coming things will be ore dii the handle.
