SPL local document

Whne trying to post a local dcoument toa specific Gl account to the special ledger using tr. code GB01, the system is giving a message.

Account Number xxxxx not allowed (master data)

Message no. GI520

Diagnosis

This coding block element is not defined in the master data.

Procedure

Please check your entry.

I checked the GL account and it is correctly setup for the company code. is there anything that I should do to correct it.
