Job Postings in E-rec 600

Hi Experts,

Need your help...

We are using mySAP ERP 2005 (ECC 6.0) and E-rec 600.

E-rec 600 is installed on the same box. We are using the Create Requisition Request via the standard BSP for Recruiter role.

Generated the URL for the start page (recruiter) using RCF_GENERATE_URL and is as follows :

http://hostname.companyname.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_int?sap-client=235&BspClient=235&sap...

The application runs fine in the browser fine.

However, when I create the Job postings, the system throws exception :

"Internal error occured"

The roles are assigned properly. Is there any settings I need to do before creating the Job postings (viz, User and Central Person) ?

Also, is mandatory to run the report (HR_SYNC_PERSON) for tranferring the HR data to E-rec engine ?

We are using the Job postings for internal candidates only. Please share your experiences.

Please, provide steps if I missed anything. Thanks for your time and valuable inputs. points assured.

Kind Regards,

Anil Kumar.

Hi Anil,

just maintain the text in T77RCF_ROLE for all entries in EN and try again.

There are no special settings needed for job postings.

Hi Anil,

check if the error still occurs, if you create a new requisition and a new posting. It could be a customizing error. Also try if the error still occurs with SAP_ALL for the user.

You don't have to transfer any data, you just need the Users for E-Recruiting.

Hope it helps.

Hi Gabriel,

Thanks for your inputs once again. I did check with SAP_ALL authorizations.

System throws the same error message : "Internal error occured"

No clue where we went wrong.

The users already been creating via the report - RCF_CREATE_USER in se38.

However, it still throws the same dump. What might be confugration settings which we might have missed in spros ?

I again checked the application log. It gives the following message :

Customizing table T77RCF_ROLE_T contains no corresponding entry for [E|0012]

Message no. HRRCF0001014

Diagnosis

The system accesses Customizing table T77RCF_ROLE_T using parameters [E|0012]. There are no entries in the table for this.

Either a program error or an error in Customizing exists.

Please provide any alternate solutions. thanks for your time.

Kind Regards,

Anil Kumar.

Hi Anil

Check the entries in the table T77RCF_ROLE_T for all the roles existing in table T77RCF_ROLE.

If any entry is missing maintain it.

Hello Anil,

first of all your problem should not have to do anything with the user creation although RCF_CREATE_USER is the wrong way to create a candidate in an integrated scenario. If there was a problem with the user/candidate you would already get an error logging on to the startpage.

It really sounds for a misconfiguration. Check if the SAP standard entries were transfered correctly from client 000. You should never delete any delivered roles for e-recruiting 600 as there are some roles which are used hard coded in the application and deletion results in errors. furthermore there is a new customizing for 600 which allows to hide dilivered roles in the bsp application so there is no need to delete them anymore.

last but not least please note that hr_sync_person for asynchronous hr integration is no longer supported for e-recruiting 600. e-recruiting 600 uses a new synchronous integration scenario.

Best Rgds.
