I was looking at this hierarchy in the ECC system using RSA3:
0MATERIAL_LKLS_HIER
and received this error condition:
Error calling function CLBW_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_LKLS for hier. catalog in source system -> 326
Do I need a program fix to that in the ECC?
I should probably explain further.
I was actually in rsa6 and pressed the "datasource extraction test" button and the transaction displayed 6 hierarchies. The "display metatdata" button works, but when I press "display tree" or "display list" then I get the error message, no matter which one of the 6 hierarachies I have selected.
I went to rsa3 and input the hierarchy in manually and on selection of each hierarchy, the test extraction shows 0 records.
Thats probably why I was getting that error message. So, I'm closing this question out.

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem, but in my case there is a hierarchy in R/3 that i can't upload. I applied the notes related to this error but it doesn´t make any difference and my uploading is still with cero records when i know there is a hierarchy in R/3.
Do you know how to fix this problem?
Thanks
The notes i have applied are the ones i found reaching for the R8462 error or CLBW_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_LKLS:
- Note 547479 - Error when calling function (Changing the necessary code)
- Note 315636 - BW20: Errors with CLBW_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_LKLS (i already have checked the CLBW table and it has the necessary entries).
Those didn't make any difference in my extractor.
I know there is a hierarchy because i went to ECC, vdh2n transaction, and it is there.
I get the error message when i use the RSA6 transaction, when i press Tree or List visualization botom.
From the RSA3 i get 0 records.
Thank you for your help
