Exeption: CS, Job already in use (DA00003)

Hi,

We are using BO 3.1 Deski and all the reports are running fine from our end but users who are newly installed BO are facing issue while refreshing the same reports.

We tried changing run timeout value to its max but it is not working.

We also tried to run the reports in different browsers but no use.

Please guide.

Symptom
• Error occurs when attempting to refresh a Desktop Intelligence document in 3-tier mode with Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9 installed:
o During SQL Execution: (DA0003) - CS, Job already in use
• Error also occurs refreshing in Web Intelligence Rich Client 3-tier mode:
o A database error occurred. The database error text is: (CS) "Job already in use" . (WIS 10901)

Resolution
Workaround: Extend the time-out limit on IE 7, IE 8 or IE 9 by adding a key to the registry.
***WARNING***: The following resolution involves editing the registry. Using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. Refer to KB 1323322 for more information.
1. Click Start > Run. The Run dialog box appears.
2. Type "regedit" in the Open: text box. Click OK. The Registry Editor appears.
3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.
4. Add a ReceiveTimeout DWORD value with a data value of (<number of seconds>)*1000. For example, if the required time out duration is eight minutes, set the ReceiveTimeout data value to 480000 (<480>*1000).
5. Exit the Registry Editor.
6. Restart the computer.

What exact version of XI3.1 Are you using ?
Do users who have this issue refresh deski in infoview or in deski clients ?
If in clients - what version of client tools exactly ?
What is the difference between "your end" and new users ?
Have you tried to trace the workflow ?
Are any other report types affected or this is only deski issue ?
