Hi Experts,

I created one datasource (based on infoset) in BW so as to extract the data from the table to ODS. Now, i have to replicate it to PRD system.

How can i do it?

Hi,

Go to RSA1, Source System, Right click on the Source System name for eg BWP100 and DataSource Overview, go to the respective application component or find your datasource with its tech name and right click on the appl comp and replicate datasource once it is done then go to SE38 tcode and run RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL and give your InfoSource name there and execute. Then you are good to go with the loads.

Hope that helps!!

If you haven't created two transports (one for the DataSource and other for rest of the objects), your transport to production will fail. But, that is OK. Import it to production and let it fail. Then replicate the DataSource like you always do. (RSA1 -> Source Systems -> Double Click on the production BW system -> Choose the appropriate node on the tree -> Replicate)

After successful replication, have Basis Team reimport the failed transport one more time and if there is no other error, transport should succeed. Everything will now be active.

Hi Pablo,

Goto RSA1 --> Souce systems(left side menu) --> Choose BW system --> From context menu(right click) --> replicate datasource.

Hope it helps
